Work Order Quick Actions

From the work order list, you are able to quickly schedule, assign, print, start, and complete work orders without ever having to enter the work order form. To access the work order list, click on the Work Orders tab.

Scheduling a Work Order

  • If you need to schedule or reschedule a work order, click on the Scheduling button listed on the work order.
  • Enter a Scheduled Start Date for when you would like the technician to begin the work.
  • Enter a Due Date to show the target completion date by which the user has to complete the work order. *Note: If the work order goes past the Due Date and has not been put into a complete status, the work order will show as overdue. The Due Date will also generate a number of days to complete the work order when looking at the work order list.

 

Assigning a Work Order

  • To quickly assign a work order to one or more users, click on the Assign button listed on the work order.
  • In the Assign To field, use the magnifying glass or the type-ahead feature to select users that need to be assigned to the work order.

 

Assigning Multiple Work Orders at Once

  • To assign multiple work orders at once, check the box next to each work order that needs to be assigned.
  • Click the Assign button in the blue header. When you do this, a side panel will open where you are able to Addor Replace Assignees.
  • Click Save when you are finished.

 

Starting a Work Order

  • A work order in a New Request status will have a Start button listed on it.
  • Click the Start button to quickly change the work order status to Work in Progress.

 

Completing a Work Order

  • A work order in a Work in Progress status will have a Complete button listed on it.
  • Click the Complete button to change the work order status to Complete. *Note: When clicking Complete, a side panel will open where you are able to enter a Completion Date, Action Taken notes, and Labor Hours.
  • Click Save when you are finished.

 

Printing a Work Order

  • To quickly print a work order, check the box next to the work order that needs to be printed. Click the Print button in the blue header. A preview of the work order will open in a new tab where you are able to review it before printing. *Note: If you need to print multiple work orders at once, simply check the box next to each work order you wish to print. You can then click the Print button in the blue header. If you would like to print all work orders on the current page, check the box next to ID.
